PROFIL PERESEPAN OBAT ANTIHIPERTENSI PADA PASIEN RAWAT JALAN DI PUSKESMAS BATUA PERIODE JULI-SEPTEMBER 2023

Abstract


Prescription screening is one of the important steps in pharmaceutical care to ensure that patients receive optimal treatment. This study aims to assess the administrative, pharmaceutical, and clinical completeness of antihypertensive drug prescriptions in Batua Public Health Center, Makassar, Indonesia from July to September 2023. This study was a observational descriptive design with retrospective data collection. A total of 99 prescriptions were collected as samples. The results showed that the administrative completeness of the prescriptions was as follows: patient's name 100%, patient's age 98%, patient's gender 0%, patient's weight 0%, patient's height 0%, doctor's name 86%, doctor's signature 0%, prescription date 100%, room/unit 95%. The highest pharmaceutical completeness was found in dosage, quantity of medication, and instructions for use (100%), followed by method of use (0%). The clinical aspect showed that the correct dosage was 99%, the excessive dosage was 0%, and the insufficient dosage was 1%.
